Nolan A. Arcos
Nolan regularly helps clients navigate conservatorships, trust administration, estate planning, and charitable giving. He focuses on guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments—when a loved one is incapacitated or has passed away—with an emphasis on clarity, protection, and peace of mind. Nolan has successfully resolved complex, high-value matters, including six- and seven-figure disputes, and has helped families put long-standing conflicts behind them. He works comfortably with a wide range of clients, from individuals and families to professional fiduciaries, corporate trustees, and nonprofit organizations.
Nolan’s approach is rooted in a genuine commitment to service. He began his career providing free and low-cost legal assistance through his law school's Elder and Disability Law Clinic, and he continues that spirit of service today through ongoing participation in community-based legal clinics. He is a strong advocate for older adults—particularly the right to age independently and with dignity—and has served on the Board of Directors of Pasadena Village, supporting seniors in the Pasadena and Altadena communities.
An engaging and dedicated educator, Nolan frequently speaks on practical topics such as estate planning, trust accountings, elder law, and fiduciary ethics. In 2024, he was among the first attorneys in California to publish a comprehensive, section-by-section analysis of major updates to the state’s principal and income laws.
Above all, Nolan believes that legal guidance should be both compassionate and approachable. He is committed to making every client feel heard, respected, and supported, especially when navigating sensitive and emotionally challenging situations. His background in elder law informs a thoughtful, discreet approach to even the most complex matters.
"From thoughtful planning to precise administration and decisive litigation, I help bring my clients clarity, protection, and resolution."
